Eva Mach

Eva Mach

President, CEO & Employee Owner

Eva Mach is Pro-Tec Design’s President & CEO. Her main responsibility is to focus the Pro-Tec team on building our shared vision of making the world safer. She spends a lot of time thinking about how to fulfill Pro-Tec's mission of protecting our clients with technology while staying true to our core values, which are the foundation of our employee-owned company.

Eva led our successful transition into a 100% employee-owned company, in addition to helping create a customer-focused team of employee-owners working on the future.

Her professional background is in finance, operations, and entrepreneurship. She ran her own accounting and consulting practice and entered the world of structured cabling and low voltage systems through one of her client companies. Her various roles prior to joining Pro-Tec Design included Controller, CFO, COO and General Manager.

Outside of work, she loves classical music, Italian opera especially, books and gardens. She also love to cook and travel.

Paul Dykema

Paul Dykema

VP of Operations & Employee Owner

As a longtime employee of Pro-Tec, Paul currently fulfills the role of Vice President of Operations & Employee Owner after working in both the Sales and Support departments at Pro-Tec.

Paul has made great strides in the development of our extensive cybersecurity program. He also facilitated the doubling of our support department in a brief, four-year period, assisted in the deployment of our new ERP system, and was a champion in the move to our new facility in 2016.

Prior to coming to Pro-Tec, Paul spent 15 years at a security integration company, working his way up from the shipping department to a National Account Manager.

Outside of work, Paul enjoys traveling with his family and involvement with his church. Paul has been married for 23 years to his wife Glenda and has two teenage children.

Senior Project Manager & Employee Owner

Paul is a Senior Project Manager & Employee Owner and is in charge of bringing projects in on time and under budget as well as overseeing the technician pool and other project managers.

Paul has worked hard to develop an internal training program for our technical and sales staff, in addition to effectively making our client relationships stronger.

Paul has been in the security industry since 2000 and worked as an installer, programmer, sales representative, and project manager.

Outside of work Paul spends time fostering dogs, visiting his cabin and fishing.

Travis Pakonen

Manager of Engineering Services & Employee Owner

Travis fulfills the role of Manager of Engineering Services & Employee Owner for Pro-Tec Design. Since coming to Pro-Tec, Travis has been instrumental in executing consulting and delivery services for numerous projects and increasing profits through engineering efforts on countless more.

Prior to working here, Travis spent time working in the structured cabling industry and as a consultant for a large engineering firm where he consulted with many fortune 500 clients.

When outside of the office, Travis spends his time volunteering, being with family, being outside, playing video games, and hosting competitive card games.

Colin DePree

Sales Manager & Employee Owner

Colin recently joined Pro-Tec as Sales Manager & Employee Owner. He provides direction and structure to identify solutions for our clients and grow revenue. Since joining Pro-Tec, he has helped to reorganize the sales team in addition to developing an onboarding process to ensure cultural and functional success for new team members.

Before Pro-Tec, Colin spent seven years in the alarm industry, working in sales, tech support, customer experience, and sales management. He holds a Master’s Degree in Management Information Systems, which aided him in developing many operational and sales processes to improve efficiencies and the customer experience.

He most enjoys traveling and anything related to sports.

Ryan Rassmussen

Manager of Support Services & Employee Owner

Ryan Rassmussen

Manager of Support Services & Employee Owner

Ryan serves as the Manager of Support Services.

Ryan worked hard to successfully implement a multi-tiered, on-call support system for our clients, in addition to the successful implementation of service level tracking for our 24/7 service contract clients.

Before joining Pro-Tec, Ryan spent 10 years designing, implementing, and programing IP surveillance systems.

Ryan enjoys taking trips snowmobiling in the winter and riding ATVs in the summer. He and his wife enjoy taking on home DIY projects together.

Joyce Albertson

Joyce works as Pro-Tec’s Controller. Over the past five years, she has been instrumental in the implementation of the company’s new ERP system.

Before joining Pro-Tec, Joyce worked as an Assistant Controller with Global Transportation, a Customs broker.

You can find Joyce playing golf, bowling, and spending time with family and friends when she isn’t at the office.

Morgan Kirkland

Morgan Kirkland

Head of Sales and Marketing & Employee Owner

Morgan recently joined Pro-Tec as the Head of Sales & Marketing. He develops, creates, and implements the organization’s go-to-market sales and business development strategies. As a new employee, Morgan advanced internal processes around; operations, training, and aligned Pro-Tec’s solutions, services, and the overall core values with the markets we serve.

Prior to Pro-Tec, Morgan spent the past 12 years leading various software sales organizations. He holds a Communication Studies’ degree, an MBA, along with continued executive leadership training at George Mason University.

In his free time, Morgan enjoys; football, exercising, and music. He has two toddler boys and has been married ten years.
